Rolling Down a Ramp

Build a simple ramp with your child using a flat piece of wood, or some other flat item that you may have around the house, like a piece of cardboard or a baking sheet.

Invite your child to roll wheeled toys and balls of different sizes that you may have down the ramp by placing each one at the top and letting go. Make sure there is plenty of room at the bottom of the ramp for toys to roll off and keep going.

Do they all go the same distance? Do some toys roll further than others? Which ones roll the farthest?
