Review today’s explorations and ideas about color.

Print Activity

Tell children that they explored many shades of green, both in books, magazines, and indoors, as well as outdoors in nature. Review the “Colors Around Us” chart and the “Shades of Color” chart. Add any new ideas children have. Ask children what they learned about green today:

Did you notice anything that was more than one shade of green?
Which shade of green did you like the best? What did you like about it?
Did you notice anything different about the green things you saw inside and the green things you saw outside?
