None of our acorns turned
into trees.

CHIRP: We only planted them
yesterday.

then I wouldn't be being

BEAVER BOY: Oh, Mom, I'm
too patient to be hungry.

CUSACK: Beaver Boy was
patient for many, many days.

(thunder)

Finally, it looked like
his patience was rewarded.

QUACK: Great day, huh?

(groans)

When are these acorns
going to grow?

CUSACK: While Beaver Boy
searched for trees,

Peep and Chirp visited
the orchard

he had already destroyed.

I was hoping these trees
would get better,

but I guess they won't.

All the flowers
are dead, too.

PEEP: That sounds
like Beaver Boy!

CHIRP: Cutting down
another tree!

(chewing noisily)

CHIRP and PEEP:

PEEP: Beaver Boy,

CUSACK: Beaver Boy went
down to Quack's pond

so he could pour out
all his woes.

BEAVER BOY: If I chew trees,
the birds get mad.

If I don't chew trees,
then I'm not a real beaver.

I don't know what to do.

QUACK: Uh-huh, mm-hmm, uh-huh.

Hey, do you think I need a
summer hat, with a wider brim?

BEAVER BOY: Aren't you even
listening?

QUACK: Of course I'm listening.

You need trees to chew,
and I want my acorns back.

You said if we planted my
acorns, a forest would grow.

Well, where is it, huh?

Where's my forest?

PEEP: I guess growing trees
takes longer than we thought.

CHIRP: Right, which is
another reason

why you shouldn't
destroy them, Beaver Boy.

They're not easy to grow.

(sighs)

QUACK: Okay, so now what?

I need acorns, and Beaver Boy
needs trees.

PEEP: I have a question.

Does it matter what kind
of wood you chew?

BEAVER BOY: Not really.

Then why don't you just chew
trees that you already cut down,

and leave the trees that are
growing alone?

solved Beaver Boy's problem.

Quack's problem, however, was
still a problem.

QUACK: I gave you all my acorns,
and you buried them.

But someday your acorns
will become trees--

a whole forest of trees.

QUACK: Hmm.

PEEP: That's your tree, Quack.

Your acorn is growing.

When this becomes a forest,
we should name it after you.
