Hatching new scientists every day!

Gazing at the Stars

Take a night walk with your child and look at the sky.

What do you see? Can you find the moon? Stars? Airplanes? How can you tell the difference between stars and airplanes?

Compare what you see at night to what you see in the sky during the day.

Do you ever see stars during the day? Where do they go? Do you ever see the moon during the day?

For a special experience observe a sunrise and a sunset. What's happening? Where do you think the sun is coming from? Going to?

Then just sit for a while and enjoy!
